How We Pick Patterns
Margaret Ellis has been sewing for more than fifteen years, from first tote bags to bed-size quilts. Before a pattern makes a list, she checks what is really inside the PDF: full-size pattern pieces or measurements only, seam allowances, the size range, step-by-step photos and how much fabric it takes. Patterns with vague instructions or a single size do not make the cut.
Every roundup shows the skill level, the format and what is included, so you know before you buy whether it is an evening project or a weekend one.
